Applications in Personalized Medicine & Surgery

Patient-Specific Surgical Guides

We 3D print custom surgical guides from biocompatible, sterilizable resins. These guides are created from patient scan data (CT/MRI) and help surgeons perform procedures with greater accuracy and speed.

Custom Surgical Instruments

We CNC machine custom instruments, handles, and trials from medical-grade materials like Stainless Steel 316L and Titanium for both prototyping and production use.

Anatomical Models

We create highly accurate anatomical models from patient scan data using multi-color 3D printing. These models are invaluable for surgical planning, education, and patient communication.

Expertise in Biocompatible Materials

We have deep experience manufacturing parts from materials certified for medical use.

  • Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V): The standard for orthopedic and dental implants due to its excellent strength, light weight, and osseointegration properties.
  • PEEK: A high-performance plastic alternative to Titanium for implants. It is lightweight, strong, and radiolucent (doesn't interfere with X-rays).
  • Stainless Steel (316L): Used for reusable surgical instruments that must withstand repeated sterilization cycles.
  • Biocompatible Resins (SLA): Specialized resins certified for skin contact or short-term mucosal contact, perfect for printing surgical guides.

Custom Medical Device FAQ

What file format do I need to provide from my patient scan data?

To create a 3D printable model from a CT or MRI scan, the DICOM data must first be converted into an STL file using specialized medical imaging software (like Mimics or 3D Slicer). We require the final, "watertight" STL file for manufacturing.

Do you operate in a cleanroom?

While we maintain a very clean and organized facility, we do not operate a certified cleanroom. We manufacture the components to your exact specifications. For sterile parts, we recommend they be sent to a dedicated medical device sterilization facility after you receive them.
